A massive earthquake measuring 7.9 on Richter scale struck Nepal and significant aftershocks continue to torment people. More than 7,500 people have already died and death toll could rise to 10,000 with many more still stuck under debris. Lakhs of people have been displaced. Death toll in India also crossed 70, with hundreds injured and undergoing treatment in hospitals. CAF India stands in solidarity with those who have been a victim of this unprecedented tragedy and is making efforts to rush relief to the affected areas.

Please join us in helping those affected by this disaster. The nature of support will be both immediate (relief-medical, food, shelter etc.) as well as long term (rehabilitation), considering the magnitude of damage caused at different locations.

All NGOs registered in India do not have tax exemption for working outside the country. Donations are taxable as per Government of India rules in such cases. We have applied for tax exemption on donations to Nepal to concerned authorities and will keep you informed once we receive the permission.
