India is now the second worst hit country in the world after the United States. In the past one year, India has witnessed severe economic and social hardships due to a strict, countrywide lockdown, which was eased slowly in phases. Now, once again state governments are imposing lockdowns to contain the spread of the virus.

While the world’s largest vaccination drive is underway, India has seen a sudden unprecedented rise in the cases that are being reported daily. With over 5 lakh cases being reported daily, there is a severe shortage of beds and oxygen. The existing health infrastructure has collapsed leaving millions helpless.

India has a population of 136 crores. Every Citizen needs to be protected.
