CAF India helped identify a suitable implementing partner given the scale and aspirations of Cadbury India. Visits to Pondicherry resulted in a consultative development of the project which started in Dec 2008. Baddi is an industrial area of Solan district.

The main problem of the area was environmental degradation, sanitation, lack of health and education, infrastructure, and an increasing migrant labour population from other states.

The project aims at touching the lives of 400 families at Sandholi village by supporting three thematic areas including education, health and hygiene and sanitation.
