Priya Viswanath, Chief Executive

Priya ViswanathPriya has been leading the CAF India operations since 2003. Her primary areas of focus have been promoting public-private partnerships that have a positive impact on the development landscape in India and promoting and facilitating global giving.

She has worked on social development issues in India for over 13 years. She designed, directed and administered Corporate Community Initiatives for members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the apex chamber of Commerce and Industry in India. She has worked as a consultant with several leading foundations including Give2Asia, United Way and the Commonwealth Foundation, and has also consulted with several bilateral and multilateral organizations, such as the UN, on philanthropy, governance, socially responsible business and diaspora giving.

Priya is a Governing Council member of the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium (APPC) and an Advisory Council member of the Kenan Institute, Asia. She is a Senior Fellow of the Synergos Institute's Global Fellows Program.

Piyali Mendiratta, Head of Donor Services

Piyali MendirattaPiyali Mendiratta joined CAF India in January 2007. She has 14 years of work experience in the service sector and has a sales and marketing background. At CAF India, Piyali is responsible for the development of corporate and individual giving. She believes in interaction with individuals, corporates and charities to take the team forward in achieving CAF India's goals.

Piyali holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Pune Unversity and a Hotel Management Diploma from the Institute of Hotel Management, Calcutta.


Puja Bhalla, Senior Manager, Development Support

Puja BhallaPuja undertakes programme due diligence and validation of charity partners, preparation of Memoranda of Understanding with charity partners, monitoring visits to charity partners, and organizing capacity building and training workshops for the voluntary sector. She also Coordinates with the CAF UK Grantmaking Partners and provides them support over the entire duration of a given project.

Puja coordinates the Tsunami Rebuilding Lives Fund. The fund had been set up to facilitate funds from corporations, foundations and individuals towards short-term relief and long-term rehabilitation in the Tsunami affected areas.

Prior to joining CAF India, Puja was part of the DANIDA Assisted National Tool Room Programme in India. Puja holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Book Publishing and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management.

Abhishek Chaturvedi, Senior Manager, Grantmaking

Abhishek ChaturvediAbhishek joined CAF India in August 2006. He is responsible for identifying charity partners for corporate clients. He remains in constant touch with our charity partners and monitors, evaluates and reports on the programmes undertaken by them. With over nine years of experience in the development sector he has worked in areas such as gender, domestic violence, health care, IT-enabled services, governance, education and community development.

Abhishek holds a M. Phil and a Master of Arts degree from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Anvita Singh, Senior Manager, Donor Services

Anvita SinghAnvita Joined CAF India in April 2006 as Senior Manager, Donor Services. She is responsible for mobilizing financial resources from companies and individuals, identifying new areas of growth, and ensuring CAF India's brand visibility.

Prior to joining the CAF family, Anvita worked in the advertising industry for over seven years where she was responsible for account management and client servicing. She is a Commerce graduate and also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management.


Gautam Dey, Manager, Donor Services

Gautam DeyGautam joined CAF India in October 2007 as Manager, Donor Services. He is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of ongoing Donor Advised Funds, Small Projects and Give As You Earn and liases with donors who contribute to these funds. He is also part of the team involved in fundraising from corporates and individuals.

Prior to joining the CAF family, Gautam worked in the social sector for two years where he was responsible for implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of different development projects supported by the Government of India, international development agencies and companies. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management.

Anil Goel, Head, Finance & Operations

Anil GoelAnil joined CAF India in September 2007 as Head, Finance & Operations. He looks after all operational and financial matters such as: compliance requirements related to donors, budgeting, reporting, legal compliance issues, ensuring timely payments to charity partners and evaluation of their financial statements, and administrative matters.

Prior to joining the CAF family, Anil worked with various development organizations for over eight years where he was responsible for accounting and administrative work. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
