  2. Is there a minimum period of time for which you expect a donor to support a charity?

    3. CAF India recommends that an individual support a charity for a minimum period of one calendar year.

  3. What is the maximum number of charities that an individual can support?

    4. You can support as many charities as you want from CAF India's list of validated charities. Should you want to support a charity that is not listed in our Charities Directory, we will validate the charity and carry out the required due diligence.

  4. Does the entire sum of what one contributes go to the charity that one has chosen to support?

    5. CAF India retains 10% of donations to cover administrative costs. This enables us to perform due diligence, monitor the charities and provide training and capacity building for charity partners. No part of this money goes towards CAF India's operational expenses.
